Opaque dark brown, good tan head. Palate is light and slightly airy and dry. Very light airy dark malt with a nice touch of dark chocolate. Turns to floral sweetness and milk chocolate. Seamlessly blended is a nice fresh orange zesty zip. Finishes smooth and airy. Really nice milk chocolate, floralness and orange. Very drinkable.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Huge creamy head with excellent duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are rich roast malt, chocolate and unfortunately orange zest. Should have just kept to the porter. Otherwise very nice and smooth.

Bottle. Looking lovely in the glass, with a dense, two-finger light tan head over a more or less black body. Roasted, coffee-ish aroma with some orange peel and licorice. It’s supersmooth on the palate, full-bodied and semi-sweet. Roasted malts, coffee, orange peel and a little bitterness in the flavor. Some charcoal too. Lots more orange in the finish. It sort of lacks balance this one, yet it doesn’t, but I like it quite much anyway. 131123
