Pours dark amber, notable presence of sediment. Frothy head, very long lasting and dark. Aroma of pinnaple, mango, tropical fruit on top of a strong resin background. Oily, sticky mouthfeel, stronger that you may expect, with high co2. Bitter taste, with highly integrated hints of tropical fuit.

courtesy of Adrian Daenzer - hazy reddish-amber beer under a long lasting foam; marzipan and quince marmalade; medium-bodied, light astringent, umami and with a solid bitterness; very dry fruity and sticky piney hoppiness with notes of tea - raw and not really easy to drink

Bottle from El Coleccionista, Gijon, Asturias, Spain, Thursday 26th June 2014 Pours hazy dark amber with off-white sticky head and because of a careless pour by moi I have put a lot of hoppy and yeasty sediment into my glass . Fresh green juicy hops on the nose. Hoppy with a little fresh burn in the mouth, gentle soft bubbles dancing on the tongue, hoppy burps. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov16 3.9

(33 cl bottle from Casa Evaristo; 5.9% ABV; BBD: May 2015; Lot #75) Pours a cloudy dark amber with medium to little, off-white head. Decent retention and lace. Aroma is citrus hops remniscient of the cascade pale ale I hobby brewed and perhaps some hints of spruce. There’s also a touch of malty honey-like sweetness in there I believe. Oily texture, quite upfront bitterness and much less sweet than the aroma initially made me assume. Medium carbonation and medium to light body. Very crisp finish. Moderate bitterness in the flavour, which also has more sprucey hop character than the aroma. Refreshingly crisp in a way that nicely showcases the hop flavour.
