COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A beautifully clean, fresh lager that expresses uncomplicated yet elegant malt and hop character. Memories of Northern Italy are the inspiration behind this classic beer. "As a boy, growing up in Veneto, I would often help my father toiling in the fields over summer. After a hard day’s work cutting hay he would reward us boys with a glass of beer. The thirst quenching flavours of this beer have remained with me ever since and, to me, will always be a defining taste of Europe..." Stefano

Bottle - pours golden with big head that settles down to a thin dense head. As soon as I popped the lid it smelled right, nice fresh pine resiney hop aroma. Interesting hop flavour up front and then am slow building bitter finish, sharp on the front of the palate. Crisp and clean across the palate.

Very light coloured, piney in the schnoz. Classic pilsner malt flavours. Not my cup of beer really.

Bottle from Canberra Cellars/Bottle-O Belconnen. Pale amber, white head, a nice enough Euro-style lager, pilsner malt and noble hop characters, just doesn’t excite me much.

This was awesome at the time of drinking. Cold, refreshing, no need to think just drink. Nothing to write home about but it was what a pilsner should be I suppose.

KeefOz (942) - Tarragindi, AUSTRALIA - AUG 3, 2013
Poured a clear pale amber colour with a two- to three- finger white foamy head that diminished quickly and left a sudsy lacing. High carbonation with many trails of small to medium sized bubbles. Aroma of sourish malt and a trace of hops. Taste dominated by hops bitterness from start to finish. Light body. Long bitter finish. Not my style.

Excellent example of a pilsner. An aromatic bouquet, floral grassy precedes a beer with a smooth mouthfeel. Malts balance well with the hops and it finishes with a bitterness that is slightly harsh.

Pours a clear golden color with a nice white head that fades to some lacing. Clean aroma of some citrus, malt sweetness and fresh grain. Taste of mild citrus with some malt sweetness and fresh grain. Light bitterness and a clean finish. Light body, crisp, smooth and refreshing, with a decent balance. A pleasant beer to enjoy and a summer day.

330ml bottle. a nice crisp refreshing beer. A nice balance of malt and hops, nothing overpowering but keeps you coming back for more.

Bottle 330ml from Dan Murphy’s. Not too bad. Aromas of citrus and hay. Taste is sweet, with light bitterness, and average length. Palate is oily, with a thin-to-medium body. Yellow, with a thin head.
