2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Cloudy orange appearance. Traces of sulphur with slight hoppiness but not much. Poorly bottled and looks like an attempt
to jump on the IPA bandwagon. This is what gives British bottled beer a bad name. Avoid.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Cask, Ship and Mitre, Liverpool. Clear amber colour with minimal off white head. Muted aroma with notes of sweet malt and veg. Lifeless and drab malt led flavour. Where are the hops ? How they can call this an IPA is beyond me.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cask conditioned at The Royal Blenheim, Oxford. Reddish amber with white head. Well if you are going to claim an Imperial Pale Ale, at least try and get somewhere close to it, this was sweetish, caramel and not particularly hoppy, bordering on dull. It appears that at least the cask is slightly superior to the bottle, but certainly not an IPA, Indian or Imperial.
