Cask at the Maltings, York. Pulls a lovely red-brown with a film of dense off-white foam. Aroma is indistinct, slight in all regards. Slight toffee and floral hops. Taste is redeeming, with a overarching subdued sweetness. Caramel, dried light pit fruits, floral hops, with a sweet toffee finish and a lasting grassy bitter after. Full on the tongue, smooth.
