2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 yngwie (10798) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - SEP 28, 2008
Bottle, shared by fonefan. It pours an orange-copper unclear body under a small off-white head. Dusty aroma with caramel and some citrus. Brett-like flavor with caramel. The brett was hardly intended, but worked in a way. Dry, with a sourish finish. Failed to impress, but was at least drinkable, even though it had clear signs of having gone bad. (080823)
4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 kmacphail (37) - Isle of Lewis, SCOTLAND - SEP 22, 2008
On bottle from a mixed case purchased from the brewery. Th ebeer poured a dark amber colour. The nose of malts and fruits, both citrus and berries. The taste was initially of malts followed by an aftertaste of blue/blackberries. I thoroghly enjoyed this beer, it reminded me of a Scottish malty beer with a bitter aftertaste, very drinkable and highly recommended.
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Maria (9631) - Thisted, DENMARK - SEP 10, 2008
TFODRBSG08 Courtesy of Fonefan. Hazy brown with a creamy head. The aroma has light notes of malt, fruit and hints of sewer. The flavour has a sourness, notes of fruit, citrus and it’s slightly tart. Not really my kind of beer.

Dark brown with no head. Aroma is tangy and the flavor is of roasted barley with a dominant dry and sour finish.
1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 albertane (377) - Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, ENGLAND - FEB 8, 2008
This dark beer has a decent coffee aroma; however, it is too watery and fizzy, and has the unappealing sour aftertaste of other Milestone beers. I was disappointed.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Ethereal (2399) - Los Angeles, California, USA - OCT 7, 2007
Cask at Whitelock’s in Leeds. Not much to look at - hazy brown with a small head - but has a good aroma of chocolate, toffee and coffee. Flavour has hints of blackcurrant and molasses and the mouthfeel is full and rich, complementing the roasted flavours. Like the previous rater, this definitely reminded me of Old Peculier. Not bad.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 maeib (7634) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - SEP 30, 2007
Cask conditioned - handpump - Malt Shovel, Northampton. A dark ruby coloured beer with a nice off-white thickish head. The aroma is malty fruity bready and there is some coffee also. The taste is more of the same. It’s very smooth and very tasty. Reminded me of Old Peculier. From a brewery whose products are usually pretty poor, this is damn good.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 RichardGretton (4028) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - SEP 23, 2007
Cask@The Lord Keeper of the Great Seal - Weatherspoons, Oadby. Brown beer with a roasted aroma and a roasted and bitter flavour. Overall a nice gentle bitter.
