Cask conditioned handpump Rowell Charter Rothwell 31/01/13. A golden beer with a whitish head and lace. A bit eggy and yeasty throughout. Very very light citrus fruits join in in the mouth. Ordinary as Milestone non black beers tend to be.

Half-pint gravity pour at Bree Louise, Euston. Pale golden body, naked surface. Mild aroma of mid-dried fruits. Fresh fruity taste with emphasis on lemony hops. Dry ending, rather floury, in fact. Oily palate. Does not stand out in any way (London, 25.11.2012).
