2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Cask in the Wellington, Hull. Chestnut coloured ale with a good creamy head. Odd smokey caramel aroma, and same with the taste. This didn’t taste right and I couldn’t be sure if it was by design or something was wrong with it. Either way, it’s one to avoid.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Cask conditioned at Far From the Madding Crowd, Oxford. Chestnut with white rim. This was quite tarty, fruity in character with a hint of sour cherry. Not very keen on this.
