Growler at Greenville Beer Exchange A: Pitch black with a big brown head. Retention is excellent, really nice looking pour S: Light lactose, lots of juicy berries, milk chocolate, solid roastiness...awesome T: Holy smokes, sooo smooth and mellow. COAST has taken the style and nailed it perfectly, seriously...Lactose is integrated into the roastiness and light citric hops seamlessly, giving a perfect balance to the flavor. Light bitter edge to it, along with a decent amount of coffee MF/D: On the heavy side of medium in body, creamy velvety feel to it thanks to the lactose. A really smooth drinker Notes: awesome beer, to the style...a growler might be too much for one person though, although i crushed mine
