Cask;.
Burnt Orange in colour, Brewed with American Hops, this gives the beer floral and spicy notes. Initially soft on the plate, the flavour develops to that of burnt oranges and a pleasant herbal taste.

Cask (gravity) - Norwich Beer Festival 2010. Small & lasting bubbly white head; clear light amber body. Zesty, sweet US hop all round profile. Relatively dry and aromatic, sweet floral aftertaste. Light body, fair carbonation and a balanced finish. Decent amarillo goodness but there’s always room for more in my book & this doesn’t quite tip the scale in that respect. Nice golden nevertheless.

@Griffin, Frome. Bright brassy colour. The aroma is accented towards caramel with a hint of wood. Sweetish, with slightly mushroomy notes. The finish is earthy - there is actually no bright amarillo goodness at all.

Cask @ The Griffin, Frome. Copper-orange. Stable white head. Balanced aroma with tasty freshly herbal hops. Slight skunkiness too, though. Soft palate. Very nice flavors. Again with these strange smokey, peaty flavors that are not really supposed to be there. Seems like a flaw rather than an intentional thing but given I like peat flavors it works for me. It finishes with a relatively long hop bitterness and leaves a lingering astringent kiss on the tongue. I actually like this one.

Cask, The Criterion, Leicester. Amber gold with minimal head. Aromas are Lemon and spices with light piney notes. Caramel and toffee light base malts with yeast and woodiness. Flavours are orange marmalade with dry biscuit malts and zesty yeast and citrus. Dry on the finish. Pretty good.

Ethereal (2417) - Los Angeles, California, USA - JUL 10, 2010
Cask at the White Horse American Beer Festival, 4th July 2010. Standard copper looks. Not too much aroma. Mealy, hefty flavour. Smoked meats and a bit of dairy too. Some resinous hops underneath but rather too sweet and heavy, needs more upfront bite.

Cask (Gallows Bird, Espoo)
7 simple malty aroma, a little sweet and caramelly
4 Rich orange, healthy spongy head.
7 Sweet caramalt body, with loads of gently-drying resiny bitterness. Quite noble, despite the name.
4 Rich grapefruity bitterness in the mouth and in the retronasals. Finish also pleasantly bitter.
15 resiny bitterness in the finish keeps you wanting more.

Cask in the Market Porter. Alround rating: Pale and buttery malt, theres a big plastic note in the nose and massive in the finish, bitterness balances. Its strange it actually smells quite good, but the taste of plastic once you finish ruins you.

Cask/Gravity at The Swan Beer Festival, Islip 05-10-07 Poured light amber no head. A flurry of pithy grapefruit but tempered with a honey sweetness. Not the most zappy interpretation of this hop in a beer but very drinkable and really rather pleasant.
