The malt flavours of this porter are built up using coloured malts without the harshness associated with roasted malt. This devilish dark porter is brewed using Williamette hops & has flavours of spicy elderberry. Smooth, charming & dark as Satanís waistcoat.

Cask conditioned at Minehead Beer Festival í15. Dark brown with cream head. There is a sweet fruitiness to this, berries, blackberry notes. Slightly thinnish malts, some roastiness, slightly smoked perhaps. Reasonable.

Cask; black, thin white head; smooth mouthfeel; low carbonation; coffee, lightly roasted malt, dark fruit, perhaps a little liquorice; quite dry, and very bitter; a hint of exotic hop fruit on the finish; whilst it isnít especially thick, it is still a fairly complex beer; balanced and quite moreish.
