Golden with a small head and quite smooth in its texture. Has a dry tropical fruit character.

Cask at the lyric Soho. It pours clear amber with a small white head. The nose is bread, toasted seeds, earth and light spice. The taste is oily, wood, earth, some astringency, light bitterness and wet leaf with a lingering bitter finish. Medium body and low carbonation. Rather odd tasting (weird astringency), can’t say I like the flavour....

First pull from cask at Cask Pub & Kitchen London. Nose is similar to sour banana yogurt: definitely lactic. Light amber color with a pencil-line of bright white head. Balanced mouthfeel, washes evenly across palate with mild banana esters. This beer could be summer up with one word: "tangy".

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 tombyars (1210) - Saltcoats, SCOTLAND - FEB 12, 2012
Tasted this in The Last Post, Paisley (JDW) in November 2010. Cask, handpump dispense. Clear pale orange amber in colour with a thin white head. Slight hint of lemon grass present in the short aroma. Thin resiny mouthfeel and good lacing. Pale malts give a tart grapefruit peel flavour. Dusty bitter hops give a dry resiny aftertaste which is long in intensity. Finish is very sharp with citric grapefruit notes present. An ok session bitter but nothing exceptional.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 harrisoni (11023) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - DEC 6, 2010
Cask handpull at County Hotel, JDW, Ashford. Copper colour, lasting beige head. It’s a fruity full bitter with some fruit salad and some hop bite on finish. It could be good but not sure this is quite right. It’s good, but I can’t tell you why.

@ Griffin, Frome. Light amber colour. Earthy, mushroomy aroma. Earthy palate with some berryish hop notes, balanced by slightly sweet, slightly nutty malts (probably a heritage variety). Excellent.
