COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Seasonal - Summer.
Colour: Dark gold. Summertime blonde beer which uses lager, malt and organic Perle Hallertau hops. On the nose there's an emphatic citrussy and lemon character with grainy malt lingering in the background. On the palette there's a whisper of grainy malt followed by more citrus (lemon and lime) before the dry finish with developing bitterness and an undertone of citrus fruit. An exceedingly well-balanced blend of malty and hoppy flavours to which you will want to keep returning.

Cask at the Monks Retreat (JDW), Reading. Pale gold in colour with a dense cream head; grapefruit aroma; flavours of citrus, dry biscuit and slightly musty straw; some grassy hops in there somewhere, but rather muddled; then a dry finish with a stale biscuit aftertaste.

Gravity at the GBBF 2007. Okay, a group of us had already had few, but when we all had a glass of this, we decided to stop beer-hopping and drink more funky monkey. That says alot when your choices are so great. A good beer!

Notes from 2002 Harbury beer festival. Dark golden and clear. Notes of citrus, herbs, and grains. Decent balance with notes of fruits, hops, and herbs. Farily easy drinking with a medium bitter finish.
