COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Seasonal - Summer.
Colour: Dark gold. Summertime blonde beer which uses lager, malt and organic Perle Hallertau hops. On the nose there's an emphatic citrussy and lemon character with grainy malt lingering in the background. On the palette there's a whisper of grainy malt followed by more citrus (lemon and lime) before the dry finish with developing bitterness and an undertone of citrus fruit. An exceedingly well-balanced blend of malty and hoppy flavours to which you will want to keep returning.

Golden with a small head and quite smooth in its texture. Has a dry tropical fruit character.

Scopey (3380) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 31, 2013
Cask at the lyric Soho. It pours clear amber with a small white head. The nose is bread, toasted seeds, earth and light spice. The taste is oily, wood, earth, some astringency, light bitterness and wet leaf with a lingering bitter finish. Medium body and low carbonation. Rather odd tasting (weird astringency), can’t say I like the flavour....

Cask by handpump at Hengler’s Circus, Glasgow - clear golden amber, thin foamy off-white head, weak fruity aroma, good lacing, sweet malty, bit of fruit, refreshing, short sweet aftertaste

First pull from cask at Cask Pub & Kitchen London. Nose is similar to sour banana yogurt: definitely lactic. Light amber color with a pencil-line of bright white head. Balanced mouthfeel, washes evenly across palate with mild banana esters. This beer could be summer up with one word: "tangy". ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

light amber brown with fruity yeast nose. Sweet toffee caramalt and shortbread pale malt. Lacking the hop bitterness/aroma to balance. Dull

Tasted this in The Last Post, Paisley (JDW) in November 2010. Cask, handpump dispense. Clear pale orange amber in colour with a thin white head. Slight hint of lemon grass present in the short aroma. Thin resiny mouthfeel and good lacing. Pale malts give a tart grapefruit peel flavour. Dusty bitter hops give a dry resiny aftertaste which is long in intensity. Finish is very sharp with citric grapefruit notes present. An ok session bitter but nothing exceptional.

Cask handpull at County Hotel, JDW, Ashford. Copper colour, lasting beige head. It’s a fruity full bitter with some fruit salad and some hop bite on finish. It could be good but not sure this is quite right. It’s good, but I can’t tell you why.

@ Griffin, Frome. Light amber colour. Earthy, mushroomy aroma. Earthy palate with some berryish hop notes, balanced by slightly sweet, slightly nutty malts (probably a heritage variety). Excellent.
