Cask handpull, The Slug and Lettuce, Leicester. Orange gold with an uneven white foam. Good fresh squeezed grapefruit, tangerine peel, NZ Chardonnay and greenery aroma. Very decent stewed tea, grapefruit juice and celery notes with a rasping hop bitterness in the finish approaching IPA territory; slightly astringent and mouth-drying, softening rich tea dunked in Darjeeling afters. Carries a good punch of flavour at the ABV. Excellent.
