Cask; Regular.
A well hopped traditional Suffolk session Bitter named after Bulls Cross Wood a large remnant of ancient woodland situated across the fields at the junction of three parishes Milden, Edwardstone and Groton.

Cask at Smithfield Hotel, Manchester. A hazy amber beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma has notes of butterscotch and caramel as well as light notes of bread. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and bread as well as hints of sulphur, leadin to a dry bready, and lightly bitter finish.

Cask @ Smithfield Hotel, Manchester M4. Pours a clear dark amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma with some hoppy hints. Slightly roasted malty caramel flavor with some hoppy hints. Has a fruity slightly roasted malty caramel finish with some hoppy hints in the aftertaste.

Clear medium brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly - fully lasting, beige creamy head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, fruity, moderate hoppy, orange. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20090122]
