An American style Brown Ale. A dark brown beer with an incredibly fruity aroma that leads into a sweet blackcurrant and elderflower body tempered by a sharp bitter twang. Chinook and Amarillo Hops are used in large quantities for bittering, aroma and dry hopping.

Cask - The Fat Cat, Norwich. Poured a dark amber with a lasting, loose & bubbly white head. Bready, toffee malt aromas, a bit farty at the back. A bit muddy on the tongue, some yeasty notes and better sweet mid fruit tones. Some caramel comes through, finishing with a lingering dry bitterness. Soft on the palate and medium in body.

Cask, gravity at the White Horse, (Mill Green Brewpub), Edwardstone, Suffolk 20-10-09 Pours dark brown possibly chestnut, with a loose white head and a nice fresh hedgerow aroma. Taste struck me straight away, I was sure that I was getting elderberries but when I asked they said there weren’t any in the brew. Realy tastes of berry fruits but good hop profile, Chinook I’m informed. Only £2 a pint on a Tuesday, this was lovely I had two pints. A6 A5 F8 P4 Ov13 3.6
