Cask. A pitch black beer with a brown head. The aroma has strong notes of roasted malt as well as medium notes of chocolate. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of roasted malt and chocolate, as well as lighter notes of coffee, leading to a dry, bitter, and roasted finish.

Clear dark black brown color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, light brown head. Aroma is heavy malty, dark roasted, burnt, strong coffee. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and heavy bitter with a long duration, dark roasted and burnt malt bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily and smooth, carbonation is soft. [20100120]
