3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
355ml bottle pours a slightly hazy copper color with a small white head that leaves barely any lacing on the glass. Aroma is grainy with a hint of caramel and some grass. Taste is a caramel malty sweetness with a grassy hop bitterness with a bit of a fruity finish. Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Not one of the better old ales out there.

Pours a cloudy copper with slight leasing and no lasting head. Aroma of yeast and fruit. Some bitterness on the tongue, quite carbonated, long, not unpleasant, finish. Some residual bitterness. Overall, a good effort from Mill Street brewery.

1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
Trying to create an old style English ale. Cloudy and unfiltered, little aroma, slightly metallic, thin body and palate. Overall very bland and disappointing.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Very coppery in colour, a little head at first with some small lacing. Looks something like an old ale. Aroma is very hoppy (surprise) with some apple and pear notes. Taste is pretty good, actually getting some good rich malt, not really very complex but present. Feel is a little crisper than Iíd wish. Not a bad beer, but Iím not sure itís to style.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
This dark copper-coloured brew is fermented with English Ale yeast to give it a mild aroma and a hint of pear and apricot in the flavour. Itís 5.8-per-cent alcohol, somewhat malty from caramel and chocolate malts and, while itís easy drinking, it lacks a distinct character.

purchased in a mixed 6-pack from LCBO for just over $13. It tastes good, i mean id enjoy it and could drink a 6 pack of these for a nice little session, but at the same time I wouldnít go out of my way looking for this beer either. Itís decent, but nothing that stands out either.
