A dark golden lager with strong malty notes, that leaves a residual bitterness in a somewhat bland finish.

Poured from bottle. Aroma of grass and hay. Pours a slightly cloudy pale with white head. Has a medium bitter taste. Light body, oily texture, lively carbonation, and a dry finish. An interesting lager.

Jaune pâle avec un grand col blanc. L’arôme des céréales et un peu d’houblon floral. Le goût est pareille mais avec un peu du sucré. Assez du corps pour le style et très bien équilibré.

12oz into a weizen glass. Pours a clear golden with a fluffy white head, sparse lacing. Malt and slight hop nose, light toffee/molasses and a touch of fruit. Medium bodied, with a crisp, albeit muted finish.

ENG: 341ml bottle from Liquor Mart in Winnipeg. Poured into the tulip. Straw, opaque color with small tan head. Aromas of malts, maybe bit hops in the background. Taste is mostly malty too, a bit of caramel and also a bit hoppy. There is just a tiny bitterness. Low to medium carbonation, light mouthfeel, easy drinking and refreshing beer overall. For sure this one is much better than all the eurolagers a.k.a. pisslagers.

PL:Butelka 341ml kupiona w Liquor Mart w Winnipeg. Przelana do kieliszka.

Pours a hazed gold color - nice rocky white cap lasts well - great bready-spicy aroma, Tastes fresh bright, malty with some sharp hop balance clean dry finish - a very tasty fresh lager but more like a Dormunder than a Vienna - if the brewer was in fact trying to replicate a Vienna the color is wrong which means the main ingredient for Vienna is missing (red munich) - but if he was shooting for a Dortmunder this is a fair one.

Bottle 341 ml Aroma: malty, tad nutty, husky, touch of brown sugar, molasses and hint of fruity sweetness, top end slightly peppery.
Look: lighter bubbly, rocky off white top. Sparse lace. Bottom was clear darker gold.
Palate/Body/Taste: medium lighter body with bit washed out feel to it. Good to see being very clean. Refreshing, drinkable with enough hop bite to keep giving.

Rating #1111 - May 29, 2014 - #mondaynightbeers @RevolutionYEG - Bought this because on the ride here, I heard Gord Downie and the Hip on the radio. Clear dark brown pour with a foamy tan head, medium retention. Aroma is toffee and roast malts. Taste is mild sweetness, hint of toffee with dominant maltiness. Mild bitterness in otherwise crisp, yet bland finish.

Bottle. Slightly dank hops aroma with sour milk and base malt. Clear dark gold under a persistent white cover. Slightly rancid hops flavour that combines with soda cracker malt and appropriate medium bitterness. Medium light body, medium carbonation.
