Bottle - Cherries and some grains. Hazy gold with a light white head. Sweet cherry and a light bitterness with some grain. I don’t get or like this at all.

I was suuuuper excites to try this because it was the first ever cherry IPA I have seen. As a fan of cherry lambics and IPAs this is a sweet dream of mine. And my dreams were crushed. Funky color with some white/pink foam. Very clunky execution. Absolutely no hop flavours and a very heavy, cloying cherry flavour. Yech.

355ml bottle pours a pale amber color with a finger of white head that leaves some spotted lacing on the glass. Aroma is mild cherries and not much else. Taste is cherry and malt sweetness with a little tartness with a mild grassy hop bitterness. Light to medium body with modest carbonation. Tastes more like a typical fruit beer, no Belgian or IPA qualities at all.

For those who don’t have time to rate they put all the beers in one bottle. Light cherry scent but no yeast or hops. Sweet, heavy, crushes the cherries, hides the hops and pushes aside any Belgian note. Might have been cool but no delicacy.

Eructoblaster (3021) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 25, 2014
Bottle - 341ml. Slightly hazy ruby body with an average, fading white foamy head. Decent malty/hoppy aroma with cherry syrup and some grainy hints. Alcohol is discreet. Its robust taste is dominated by hoppy and fruity flavors. Some malty and woody notes are noticeable. Ends with a decent bittersweet finish. Not bad.

Dark ruby pour, very small white head. Sweet malty aroma with some tangy cherry juice, and slightly piney hops. A distinct sweet, slightly fruity belgian finish. Sharp, and crisp, but fruity, and tangy at the same time. Tart cherries, and bready, yeasty malts with slight pine in the background. Weird beer, not sure i dig it.

Aroma of cherry and hops. Clear amber colour. Flavour of berries, booze, and cough syrup. Medium in body and carbonation.

355ml bottle. Pours red with white head decent lacing. Aromas of toast, biscuit, roasted malt, caramel, spice, hint of cherry I guess. Taste like nose, but a distinctive cough medicine Cherry is present... I kind of like it actually. But no bitterness to get it to IPA style, pale ale at most.

Pours a semi-opaque copper leaning towards the red end of the spectrum. Considerable carbonation. Aromas are bang on cherry macaroons, that is to say coconut, almonds and cherries. Tastes are identical. Like dessert in a glass. Overall, it’s a tad sweet for most beer drinkers, but I am thoroughly enjoying the uniqueness of this offering from Mill St.
