Mill St Belgian style Wit is a refreshing beer made with a unique blend of ingredients. The soft texture and pale colour comes from the use of wheat. Coriander, orange peel and our special yeast produce the complexity and depth of fruity flavours contained within the glass. This beer is unfiltered. The resulting cloudiness gave rise to the term Wit, or White beer

Bottled. Mild orange peel aroma. Cloudy and off-yellow in colour with reasonable carbonation and little head. Orange and lime flavours are present with maybe even a hint of strawberries and a dry finish.

Sampled from the tap at the Pearson location. Pours a cloudy earthy yellow with a white head that dissipates nearly completely. Aroma has earthy wheat supported by clove and banana notes. Flavor has wheat and grass throughout with a light clove backbone.

Draft - Estery yeast, banana and sweetness, clearish gold with a rich white head. Sweet and very estery with banana, citrus and some bubblegum. A yeasty, creamy mess really.

Pint at Ottawa Brewpub. Arrived with a slice of orange but rated without. Has a thin layer of head. A hazy yellowish colour would describe the appearance, with less at bottom of glass. Aromas of cirtus hops. Very sweet tangy orange flavour, very citrusy, with hint of lemon/lime. Hops are prevalent, do not notice much malts quite at first, more in finish. Has good lacing and moderate retention and carbonation. Somewhat bitter aftertaste and sweet mouthfeel. A good summer beer.

Draft at the pub. Hazy yellow, small white head. The aroma is orange, plenty of yeast. Overall a dull beer, not at all lovely like a Belgian wit.

Cloudy yellow pour with white head. Spicy. Lemon. Fruity. I like it for the style. Draft pour at Mill Street brewery in Toronto, part of a flight.

Draught @ the brewpub. Pours hazy straw with small white head. Clear aroma of hops and citrus, with grainy and malty touches. Sweetish, malty and estery flavour with notes of hops and touches of citrus and coriander. Hoppy and slightly peppery aftertaste with estery notes. Medium to high carbonation. Well-balanced and enjoyable. Decent stuff.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a cloudy yellow color with a large creamy white head that lingers and left great lacing. The aroma was egg white, yeast, faint pepper and must. The flavor was phenol, yeast and faint citrus. Medium length finish. Medium body. Meh.
