COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We produce a traditional styled Irish Stout that is served using beer gas to produce that familiar creamy pour. Our black stout has a roasted malt flavour and a hint of toasted walnuts and choclate in the finish. Select imported hops are used to dry out the finish of this ale.

After pouring this I thought the the aroma was a bit too smokey. I was wrong after tasting. Wow a nice light bodied stout. Another quality product from Mill St.

3/4 of a flight at the Toronto brewpub. Opaque black with very fine beige head. Nitrogenated, I think. Thin. Flavor of burnt meat, rancid nuts, and flat sugar free cola. How in the world this has a rating of 88 overall is beyond me. If you like stouts, skip this.

Can (473 ml), shared. Dark brown with a creamy fully lasting beige head leaving little lacing. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate and caramel notes. Taste is mildly sweet with roasted malts, chocolate, hints of caramel and vanilla notes. Medium body. Nitro carbonation. Creamy / velvety mouthfeel. Chocolatey finish. Good nitro stout. Easy drinking.

440 ml nitro can. Pours an opaque inky brown-black with satisfying fine dense thick tan head. Aroma is nutty coffee with a hint of vanilla. Flavor is roast, halbbitterschokolade with just the right amount of hop bitterness, also a hint of lactose. Can says "serve cold" but I like it at 10 deg C. One of my favourites.

On tap at the Mill St. Bar at Pearson Airport. Black opaque in colour with a light tan head that stuck around throughout the session. Smell is nearly non-existent with slight notes of cream. Tastes of coffee, cocoa, with a smokey finish that sticks to the tongue. Medium bodied. Overall an excellent Nitro Stout that is certainly among or even better than many other famous examples such as Guinness Draught.

440 ml nitro can purchased and consumed in Nova Scotia. Pours essentially black with a very durable tan head. Smooth light body with ample but soft carbonation. Aroma: dark roasted grains with some char and a hint of dark fruits. Flavor: dark roasted grains with light hops and hints of smoke, char, and coffee. Overall: lots of dark roast flavor in a low ABV stout.

Pours jet black from a can into a glass. Dense just off white head. Not a huge burst of aroma - perhaps light coffee and some mixed nuts. Dry throughout the palate and finish. A okay dry stout, but not a whole lot here to be excited about overall.
