COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our porter is rich and robust, dark brown in colour with a dark roasted coffee nose, imparting an intense coffee flavour with notes of chocolate. Made with beans supplied by the Distillery District’s Balzac’s Coffee, this porter offers a rich, full and unique flavour. Currently, there are no other coffee-flavoured beers in the Ontario market.

Out of the many coffee stouts and porters that I have tried this beer is with my top three. It's got a great malty coffee flavor with a very subtle hint of vanilla. The thick body of the beer helps it linger on the pallet with a very nice finish ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A great blend of high quality Balzac’s coffee beans in a rich dark beer. No need for an after dinner coffee when your meal is accompanied by this fine brew. I enjoyed this drink along with a flight of interesting brews in the newly-opened Mill Street Beer Hall. A Beer Lovers’ Paradise!!!!

Light chocolate and coffee flavour are welcomed upon first sips. I like the tankhouse ale a bit more. There isn’t much else other then the flavours mentioned, though they go well together.

Bottle. Pours black, thin body, with medium khaki head. Aroma is heavy of coffee grounds heavy with some lactose sugar. Flavor is dark roast ground coffee and lactose sugar with hints of cola. Lingering roastiness, slightly creamy and frothy body. Everything blends together really well. Balanced. Quite good! Wait... "Currently, there are no other coffee-flavoured beers in the Ontario market." What the hell?!?

For a porter, this is somewhat thin. Coffee is apparent, but also a small amount of chocolate. Brandon and Monica picked this up for me in Toronto in 2013.

Black pour with a tan head that hangs around for awhile. Aroma of roasted malt and a slight hint of coffee. Mouth is kind of thin. Finishes bitter with espresso. Upfront it is slightly sweet. Some burned notes here and there. Overall not a bad coffee porter.

Pours dark brown, almost black. Thin tan head. Chocolatey-coffee-like aroma. A bit sweet with a fizzy feel on the tongue. Not bad, but not great.

Bouteille 341ml.
