Very nice. Smooth, a unique coffee taste. Its creamy, a bit thin though, but not a whole lot of robust bitterness, which makes it interesting. Overall very enjoyable.

Jul 4, 2008 Via trade with matt7215. Thanks! A delicious porter. Aroma was weak for the style and what the name suggests. Of course, there was coffee throughout. Pour was a nice deep dark brown with a thin near tan ring for a head. Taste was very full. Strong coffee with caramel malt in the front and a hint of bitterness in the aftertaste. Decent carbonation and mouthfeel. Nice.

Aroma: Coffee, slightly burnt. Malt.
Taste: Coffee and malt. Some chocolate? Quite nice.

Jun 22, 2008 On tap at the brewpub. Pours black with a thick dark beige head. The aroma has pulses of coffee and anise. This has a subtle milky creaminess to it.

May 24, 2008 Bottle. Pitch black, small tan head. Typical roasted malt porter taste, with a sharp bitter coffee bonus. Smooth and very easy drinking, light bodied. Great stuff.
