2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. A found this IPA to be a little weak in the hop department, but not in a pleasant starter IPA kind of way. The hops were a tad skunky and a little too much malt taste. I found this to be a very unbalanced IPA.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pint on tap at Beer Revolution in Edmonton pours a golden color with a small white head that leaves only a few specks of lacing. Aroma is citrus and light fruits. Taste is a grapefruit bitterness with a malty and light fruit sweetness. Light to medium body with average carbonation. An average IPA at best, nothing special here.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
1 oz sample from vendor rep. 5% Clear golden amber pour with a weak, white head that bubbles away to a ring. Aroma is strong with hoppy overtones, Cascade grapefruit, citrusy, toasted malt. Taste is more of the same, dry hops and roast malts dominating the flavour, with a hint of sweetness. Finish is dry, but balanced and satisfying. Delicious.

bottle. Poured medium amber with a creamy white head. Orange citrus aroma. Medium body with a creamy texture, tart finish. Sweet grapefruit citrus with a bready quality and a peppery note at the end. Would have thought it was an IPA, really nice.
