2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Tap at the Brewpub. Hazyish pale yellow. Small white head. Stinky gherkin aroma juice aroma. Sourish grany wheaty flavour. WTF is this? Gherkin juice and beer mix? Doughy notes. Crisp in the mouth with quite nice lightish body, dryish grainy wheaty finish. Faint stickiness. It’s bad. Wouldn’t dare think it’s gone off. Just bad.

2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Mill Street Brew Pub: golden/amber with thin white head. Weak aroma of grain and yeast. Flavors of bread crust and more grain. Very thin and uninviting. Strange aftertaste, strange name. not up to par here, at all.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
bottle. Pours pale yellow, clear, no head. Aroma of wheat, yeast, breads. Taste is light, really nothing interesting happening. Disappointing.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a dirty brown yellow with a small white top. Aroma is light oak and wheat. Taste is much like Rickards Cardigan. Hint of oak and a small wheat backbone. Fairly mainstream but I applaud the effort.

2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap @ Moon Room Ottawa. Pours a light hazy yellow with a thin creamy head. Aromas are fairly faint, a little bit of sour bile and a touch of light grains. Taste is light grains or adjuncts typical of a lager/pilsner with a touch of sour. Biting mouthfeel, assertive carbonation and a short light finish. Unremarkable.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Cloudy yellow appearance. Very bready aroma. Wheaty yeasty palate, light pear, light breadcrusts. Not what I expected, but in a good way.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
1 oz sample from vendor rep 4.7%. Part of the summer seasonal pack. Clear yellow pour, no cloudiness, aroma is mild wheat, taste is wheat/grains, mild citrus, mild oaky tinge. Nothing to distinguish this "wheat" beer, and nothing worthy of labelling as an "estate, oak aged" brew. Rubbish.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
[on tap at Churchill]
Faintly sour wheat malt aroma--otherwise pretty weak in the nose. Hazy dark yellow under a lasting, white flannel blanket. Refreshing, slightly sour wheat flavour that is dry and with a subtle corn note. Light body, medium to high carbonation, lingering sour finish. Very quaffable!

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Very weak beer overall. The pour a light golden yellow with a mild hazy body and a soapy white head. The nose is light and mildly hopped with grassy and cerealy toasted wheat malts. Good balance and crisp finish but not much else...
