3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from 10th anniversary sampler: Pours as hazed honey gold with a tight creamy white cap that stacks out of the glass, lasts and leaves plenty of lace on the glass. Modest carbonation, Aroma is full of malty-cereal tones, a touch of sweetness and an undertone of spicey Saaz hopping. Flavour is really well balanced between the rich pilsner malting and the Saaz hop bittering, smooth with a lingering finish of sweetness and bittering. Sight warming in the end, a nice doppel pils, very easy to drink and satisfying. Direct competition to King Pilsbock.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Drinkable session lager. Pours golden clear with ok head and lacing. Smells of saaz hops. Czech flavour really comes through in this one. Elevated it above average for style. Bitter crisp finish. Some booze and malt in aroma. Not bad actually. On tap at new beer hall.

2013-05-18. Crisp dark yellow body, small off-white head. 3+ Modest aroma, lightly grassy hops, mild lightly grainy malt character. 6+ Flavour is similar, lightly grassy hops, sweet biscuity pale malt, lighty grainy accents. 6+ Very smooth average plus body has soft carbonation. 3++ Decent but not really to my own taste. Beer pours a clear gold colour with a thin white ring for a head. Aroma is grains and cereal. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, slightly creamy, with mild carbonation. Flavour is grainy malt, with a bitter finish, Quite easy to drink.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
olden beer with decent white head. Floral and fruity aroma with peppery tones. Tastes the same as it smells. Lots of rich malt, hop, and grain flavours. Not a true double; need more bite. But a really good beer which I quite enjoyed

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
341ml bottle. Looks like a semi-filtered, darker pils, moderate head. Aroma is apple, noble hops, a hint of skunk. Earthy and herbal hops, sweet malt. Overall, reminds me of a cross between malt liquor and pilsner.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Rather semi-original though unexciting beer, on tap at Bar Hop. Yeasty. Weak on the pils side, though mineral bitterness picks up in the finish. Sourishish dark beer. Dark yellow body.
