COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A pale (Helles in German, orange colour), strong German lager brewed with 100% Organic malt and hops. A great big white head gives way to a sweet maltly note which is quickly followed by the aroma of alcohol. A rich malty flavour with hints of current and oranges is found on the first sip. The hops have a gentle bitterness to balance the malt. The alcohol is not a dominate flavour, but you certainly feel it after a glass or two.

Light amber color, creamy head. Both the aroma and flavor provide a delicate and correct malt feeling; there is some fruity touch more typical of Ales than of Lagers; correct bitterness.
Pleasant Bock.

Clear gold with a thin lacy white head. Strong fruity peachy with a soft malt a overall bitterness. Smooth light body. Solid fruity malt taste. Very easy to drink. Peach, a light bitter hop finish. Great session.

Enjoyed at the Ottawa Brewpub with Lilihel on our first night there, with the ribs special and some nachos. Pours a golden colour with and amber hue and a small white head with minimal lace. The nose is malty with alcohol, hints of bananas and other fruits coming out in the finish. Warming mouthfeel with a little dryness from the hop, in the finish. Taste of sweet malts, well-balanced by the hop to cut into it, with fruit notes (oranges, bananas). Pretty decent Helles Bock that warms up, but does not overpower in any way.

On tap at Ottawa brew pub. Clear golden colour. Aroma of gentle toffee and straw. Taste is better with some fruit maltiness that flattens out quick. Won't have it again.

On tap at the Ottawa brewpub. Limpid golden body with a decent white creamy head. Its malty/hoppy aroma carries fruity and brown sugar hints. Malty/hoppy taste with flowery and herbal notes. Some metallic notes are also noticeable. Ends with a decent, warming bittersweet finish. Not bad.

341ml bottle in seasonal sampler pours a golden orange color with a small off-white head that leaves very little lacing. Aroma is bready malts with some orange zest, light hops and yeast. Taste is malty sweet with the orange and yeast with a mild hop bitterness and some alcohol. A fairly decent light bock style brew which I enjoyed sampling.

On tap at Millstreet Ottawa. Amber with a biege head. Some smoky malts, yeast, mild hops and some alcohol. Somewhat sweet, moderate carbonation and body, mild tang, little odd overall.

On tap at the Ottawa brewpub. Pours a clear dark amber with a small white top. Aroma is rich, earthy malts and well rounded nobile hops. Taste is clean, light but with an earthy almost toffee malt profile that is balanced well with the slight hop bitterness.

On tap at C’est What?. Very clear pale gold. Active carbonation. Puffy white head. Aroma of orange, current, sweet breadiness. Fruity and light, this would be refreshing in the summer. Slight whiskey character in the malt. Nice dry finish. I found this unique, as I’m not familiar with the style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
