2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
On tap @ the brewpub in Toronto airport. Deep golden body, average white head. Fruity grainy aroma and flavour with a medicinal bitterness. Subpar offering from these guys. Boo.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bu à la pression au PUB de Toronto, une couleur claire avec une mousse peu intense, très ctronnée dans mes souvenirs puisque ça date d’il y a deux ans...

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at Mill St. Brewpub. Pours a nearly crystal clear copper/amber with a white ring head. Aroma has notes of caramel and faint, fruity hops.Taste is bitter with notes of bread and caramel offset by a slightly hoppy finish.Medium body and carbonation. Fairly clean and refreshing in the mouth.Overall not bad but a bit plain. Refreshing and easy drinking but it could be a bit more hoppy. Traditional hops for sure.Worth a try for sure.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a nice amber gold colour with a small cream head. Great caramel aroma, with a great pine hoppy bitterness. Best served on tap.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
On tap at YYZ airport brew pub. Pours a clear reddish copper color with a big white head and nice lace. Wow this beer looked great and it took me numerous smells to pick up some citrus and sweet malts. Taste is big on sweet malts up front with some bitterness hiding on the end. Really this should be a pale ale.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draught at the brewpub
Amber color, with small head. Light caramel aroma. Some caramel flavor, also a bit buttery; good body strength; strong bitterness, but limited hop qualities.
This would be an English IPA.

1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
Smells like malt fermented in an open vat in a swamp. Pours reddish brown, clear (obviously). No trace of hops, or if there is, it’s no hops I’ve previously encountered. Taste has a bitterness more akin to turpentine than any herb I know. Definitely stinks of a grade six science experiment gone wrong. Brutal. On tap at No Name bar.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at Mill Street. Only slight hoppy aroma and taste is smooth with a hint of English hops. Much more sedate than the North American IPA cousin.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a cloudy gold with a nice frothy white top. Aroma is high pine hop bitterness with a small amount of malt coming through. Taste is a blast of hop bitterness but missing the sweet malt to smooth out the palate. It’s an assault on your palate, which isn’t all bad but it singles it out from the great IPAs
