cask. biggest note is the interesting hops involved in this beer. some pine, a bit floral, a bit citrusy. definitely brewed in the english style with a good malt backbone. somewhat interesting but not terribly memorable. a good just not quite great beer.

On tap at Mill St Brewpub. Pours copper in colour, decent amount of white head, leaves a bit of lacing. Nice hoppy aroma, and great bitter finish. Right on style. A great IPA.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 AWS9 (337) - Mississauga, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 1, 2009
On tap at Mill Street Brew Pub. Amber appearance with a frothy white head. Some sharp hops and some bitterness, though not overbearing. Malt seems to mellow things out a bit. Not quite what I was expecting, but not bad.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Spab (1118) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 29, 2009
On tap at Smokeless Joe’s. Pours a clear orange gold with decent white head, good retention. Hops, caramel malt, fruit in the nose. Flavour has real malt presence and reasonable hoppiness. Slight slcohol warmth. Bitter finish, fine carbonation. Good, but not great.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20 zebracakes (1340) - Washington DC, USA - AUG 22, 2009
On tap at Cloak and Dagger in Toronto, 07.12.09. Hazy orange, off white head. Aroma is caramel, malt, vanilla. Flavor is malty: vanilla, caramel. Sweet and not very hoppy. This is more like a British style IPA and I’m not thrilled with it.

Cask@Miil Street Brewery Brewpub, Toronto. Darkish brown/reddish beer with a plainly hopped aroma, and a strongly hopped, roasted and dry flavour. Overall a nice well hopped beer.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 ross (1874) - weddington, North Carolina, USA - JUN 30, 2009
Bottle from Sean. Where the fuck did you find this? I thought it was brewed in California, hahah. Wow... Pours out an orange color with a white head on it. Smell is fruity and grassy with a weaker hop smell than I was hoping for- but thats ok. Taste is grassy, little bit of hops, kind of dry. Heavy on the carbonation, but not too much to be bothersome. Drinkable, but not really memorable. Thanks Sean.
3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 cyrenaica (745) - Milton, Ontario, CANADA - APR 23, 2009
20 oz draught
6.1% ABV
I tried this beer on tap on March 20, 2009 at "Smokeless Joe’s" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer appeared a clear reddish-brown with a thin tight tan coloured head. The aroma was very hoppy with ample floral hoppish notes, some pine, and citrus. The mouthfeel was medium bodied, with medium high carbonation. The flavour had some malt, and a nice balance of grapefruity hops. There was also some acidity in the flavour.
