You can describe this beer in one word. Refreshing. Usually you can have a beer with flavor, or you can have a beer thatís thirst quenching, generally you canít have both. This beer however rides a unicycle down the middle, putting feet down on both sides (brother ali). Pours a golden haze with a short lived head. The aroma is lightly herbal, tea? a little earthy, very light, the lemon seems to be hiding. The flavour is where the lemon shines, it starts off with a light white tea note, then the lemon shows up and hangs out with the malts right until the white tea finish. Refreshing like iced tea, but satisfying like beer, itís refreshtfiying. . . If they sold this in six packs I would totally buy a few, along with sam adams summer ale.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Puts a hazy tea-colored amber (orange pekoe) ale in the glass, 1 finger tight pored cap that goes to a surface-clinging lace. Soft carbonation.
Aroma changes as it warms from cold wherr I got: yeasty-earthy-sweet, then burnt toffee with grassy-herbal notes then caramel with herbs.
Modest body, gritty puckering tart-dry character. In front you get a nice mix of toffee malt, citrus and leafy grassy hop balance, moving toward the clean, lightly bittering finish, it turns dry and tart with the hops and tea tannins piggy backing to give a lovely puckering tea-like bittering.
Really a nice refreshing summer beer...enjoyed it more than I thought I would.

Poured from the bottle purchased in Waterloo, Ontario. Pours a hazy amber with a fluffy, white head. Subtle aroma of lemons but the real flavour comes through across the palate. I didnít detect a lot of tea flavour but that is ok. Iím glad that this beer was not artificial tasting or heavy-handed with lemon or tea. Subtle and refreshing for sure. Enthusiastic carbonation and a light body create a perfect summer sipper for a patio.

On tap at brewpub. Mild lemon aroma. Pours a radient dark gold. Mild citrus hops. Fairly prominent lemon flavouring. Some sugary sweetness. Tastes like a very mild lager with a lemon kick. Not bad for a summer beer, the women at the table enjoyed it...

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from a mixed six pack. Deep, slightly hazed amber pour, has a one finger thick froth, leaves pretty lace. Nose of fresh lemon juice, caramel malts, toast, floral hops. Sweet malts and tannic tea flavours with a lemony bite. Astringent finish, medium bodied and refreshing. Good.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at the Golden Kiwi, Cambridge. Pours a hazy yellow, with a fluffy white head that left great lacing. Faint citrusy aroma. Flavour was dry citrus, with a faint hint of tea in the finish. Better than I expeceted. Would make a great patio beer for the summer. Very refreshing.

Draught @ Cíest What: Pours amber, nice off-white foamy head. Smells exactly like it promises with tea bags and lemon. A bit too carbonated but very refreshing, lots of tea and citrus, bready, just a little bitter. Very nice.

For a beer with this much sweetness it was pretty good with a nice hoppy touch and some decent flavours other the not so overpowering lemon ice tea flavour. Had it on the patio and it did a pretty good job at quenching my thirst while offering a decent flavour as well. An interesting attempt but not one I will be purchasing very often.

[2276-20090613] Tap. Lemon pepper tea aroma has a hint of apricot. Slightly hazy, amber orange body with a medium-lasting foamy off-white head. Some brewed orange pekoe tea flavour with nice lemon citrus hints. Medium body is mildly bitter. Comes together well.
