355 ml bottle in a mixed pack from LCBO, served cold in a tulip glass. 16OC12.

App.: Hazy copper with a moderate off-white head. Aroma: Fairly nice caramel, fruity malts, slightly buttery, somewhat spicy but more subdued than expected, close and ginger, maybe restrained due to temp. Palate: Medium+ body, aggressive effervescence. Flav.: More spice than the nose, clove and nutmeg and ginger, less malty than the nose, fairly good; dry with minimal bitterness and a spicy, fairly malty finish.

More subtle than the draught version.

The beer was part of the Mill Street Autumn Harvest 6-pack with Mill Street Oktoberfest. The beer pours a burnt orange colour with a very thin tan coloured head. The aroma was pumpkin, spices, and some weak hops. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was metallic pumpkin, weak spices with acidic grains in the mix. Not something I would try again

341ml bottle. Pours a cloudy amber with an orange/beige head. Aromas of vanilla, raw pumpkin, faint cocoa, biscuity malt, and of course pumpkin pie spice. The taste is more of the same. Light bodied with vanilla, malt, light spicing, cocoa, faint roasted pumpkin seed, and a tiny dose of bitterness. Decent.

Pours a nice, clear amber-orange with a small lasting creamy off-white head. Aroma of pumpkin, spices and caramel malt. Slightly watery flavour follows the aroma but is a tad muted along with some mild vegetal notes. Average bodied. A good beer, just a bit dull

355 ml bottle. Pours a very slightly veiled pale amber with a white-beige head. Smell is cinnamon, cloves. Taste is sweet, brown sugar, cookie dough, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, vanilla. Finish is mostly dry, spicy. Body is medium to average, mouthfeel of smooth, creamy. Medium to strong carbonation. Good little pumpkin ale.

Pours a deep copper with a small off white head leaving a nice lace kicking around. Aroma is mostly nutmeg cinnamon and some light wheat. Flavour is mostly spice(nutmeg cinnamon) and some faint pumpkin notes. Carbonation is high. In my top 5 for pumpkin beers.

pours clear bottle brown, almost no head nor retention, just a thin ring, a few countable slow streams. Malted pumpkin and cinnamon/nutmeg on the nose. Drinks with a light roasted almost salty ginger up front, medium malts, 6/10-tame sweetness, body thins out in the mids, spices kick in - cinnamon, nutmeg, finishing crisp, partially hopped dry and roughish mildly bitter. Low-medium complexity, low-med depth, okay transitions, flat carry, okay drinkability. Not awesome, I’ve had better pumpkin ales.

355ml bottle. Nice deep orange colour with an off white, whipped cream head, pretty filtered. Pumpkin pie and vanilla in the aroma, with a little beer underneath. Good balance between the pumpkin, spice, malt and herbal hops on this one. Nothing gets too far ahead of the others. Body is surprisingly light and crisp for such a sweet beer. Overall, one of the more successful pumpkin beers I’ve had, but I couldn’t see drinking more than one myself before the taste became cloying.
