Oct 6, 2009 Pretty bland beer. Aroma of slight malt and yeast. Taste is a clean, crisp light taste with a slight bite aftertaste. It’s an ok beer, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to drink it again. Specially with the other beers that Mill Street make.

Oct 4, 2009 Bottle. 4.2%. Not bad considering the plethora of other Canadian entries in this style. Pour is considerably bubbly, with a weak white head that fizzes away. Aroma is sweet corn and grasses. Taste is quite light, grainy and corn, but the finish is quite smooth, mouthfeel is light, bubbly, and superb: this is definitely drinkable. A good patio beer for sure.

I have never been a big fan of pale lagers but this one is not bad. While I won’t be rushing out to get more a fresh bottle was actually enjoyable on a warm afternoon.
Aroma / Appearance - Carbonated and golden it bubbles in a lively fashion below a stark white head. Corn puffs with a extra dose of sweetness fill the air. For the style it is actually richer than I expected.
Flavor / Palate - Grainy corn pops, very mellow and delicate hops, and a light fruity finish indicate this bottle must have been well taken care of. Given its packaging I was surprised. This would not be the worst thing for drinking on the deck while cooking steaks.

Sep 18, 2009 bottle. Poured clear very pale yellow colour with a white head. Strong sweet ’off’ grainy aroma. Light watery mouthfeel. Smooth and malty and a little bitter otherwise generic flavour.

Sep 13, 2009 Pours clear yellow, like vitamin-depleted urine, and smells pretty close to the same. Some sour notes, like a used urinal cake. I’d comment on the taste, but there isn’t one.

Aug 27, 2009 Bottle from LCBO (Toronto, ON). Pours a crystal clear golden yellow with no head. Aroma is sweet and funky with notes of honey, wheat, grain, funk. Flavor is sweet and lightly malty with notes of honey, grass, wheat, grain, funk. Generally light body with a funky finish.

Aug 22, 2009 On tap at Cloak and Dagger in Toronto, 07.12.09. Clear gold with white head. Aroma is malty and hoppy, nothing special. Flavor is grainy and malty. I wouldn’t seek this beer out again.
