Not a huge fan of the lager, but this one is crispy, slightly citrusy and a smooth. closer to a lager then any macro, man these guys know how to make beer.

Light gold in colour with strong carbonation. Aromas are of light bread and some surprisingly sweet honey and nuts... perhaps a bit of a spicy hop note hiding in there too. Malt forward flavor with more of the sweetish malt character.Thankfully, it dries out fairly quickly with some nice prickly bitterness and a bit more of those spicy hops. If they could thin out the malt character a bit, this would be much better. As it stands, it’s average at best. Many thanks to Lubiere for the extra.

I will say that the price is a bit steep for a 6 pack-215ml bottles. at 4.2%. over $10 and they’d be gone in a wink. Bottle: Pours a light straw gold with a bubbly thin white head. Aroma is light bready lager malt, slightly grassy (German pilsner-ish) Flavour’s first impression is a crisp grainy lager though a bit thin through the middle. Nice touch of bitterness in a clean finish. Well made but not overly impressive. I’d have these guys down in 2 swallows on a hot summer day. Tasty enough, though I’d probably pick a slightly cheaper lager for mass consumption.

Cute 215ml bottle. Average light golden appearance. Lager aroma. Active carbonation. Light bready flavor with some balanced hops and malt. For essentially a light beer at 4.2% it’s not bad.

Lavender, grassy, lightly soapy hops over crisp toasty pils malt with a slight touch of cabbage in the fairly clean nose. Brilliantly clear golden body is topped by a decent white head that lasts well and leaves some fine lacing on the sides of the glass. Somewhat doughy cereal malt flavour with decent bitterness and some grassy hop character. A hint of fruitiness and a touch of butter round out the flavour and soften the bitterness a bit too much. Light body with moderate carbonation that initially has good attack on the tongue, but the body doesn’t fully support the carbonation level. Half pint glass. Fridge temperature. Clear bottle. Thanks, Lubiere!

Bottle. Pale golden in colour, very thin dissipating white head. The aroma is of cookie and biscut malts, some light grassy hops, crisp. The flavour is slightly sweet, crisp, malty (bread, cookies), some grass and herbs. Bitter mouthfeel, very light body, medium carbonation. Finishes with a moderate bitterness, lingering, slightly dry.

Bottle courtesy of Lubière (215ml bottle): Poured a golden color lager with a medium bubbly head with average retention. Aroma of semi-sweet malt with very subtle hops. Taste is refreshing with some hops presence and a good malt presence. I’m not a big fan of the clear bottle but not a trace of skunkyness in this bottle. I’m must say that this is not something that I would be particularly interested in trying again but I had much worse beer in my life.
