Barnabus (29), Niagara, Ontario, Canada Jun 15, 2008 222mL bottle from the OCB discorvery pack one. Unlike many, I actually liked the aroma (like sweet straw in an apple orchard). I could do without the head though (which does not lace at all). I appreciated the long sweet finish (with a touch of bitterness). Cletus (5002), Connecticut, USA May 26, 2008 Stubby courtesy of matt7215. Pours gold with a thin white head. Smells of perfume, some caramel. Tastes of lemons and dry malt with a crisp finish. Ungstrup (14758), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 13, 2008 Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival 2007. A light golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma is sweet, but also with a light skunky note - is it the clear bottle or the hops? THe flavor is sweet malty combined with notes of straw, but also hints of skunkyness. cyrenaica (435), Milton, Ontario, Canada May 6, 2008 222ml bottle

I tried this beer on April 30, 2008 after purchasing an assorted 6 pack of Ontario Craft Brews from one of my local LCBO outlets. The beer poured a translucent gold colour with a generous white head which settled down immediately. Tons of effervescence. The smell was very very sour. Almost a turn off. The mouthfeel was light to medium bodied, lots of carbonation. The flavour was a ton of grain with a little bit of hops. Not a beer I would try again. IrishBoy (2686), Bakersfield, California, USA Mar 12, 2008 222ml bottle; doesn’t Corona come in bottles like these? Nose of grain and light grassiness; yellow with a medium white head; flavor has light, lemony hop bitterness along with the grainy malt; better than i expected of a plae lager; actual hops! ILduce (133), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Feb 16, 2008 Updated: Jan 19, 2009Bottle. Pale yellow under a medium lasting head. Vigorous carbonation. Faint aroma of grassy hops. Tastes buttery and sweet but not much else. Thin and clean. An quaffable green beer. AaronBouchard (128), Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada Feb 14, 2008 I was kind of sad opening up the box and finding out the bottles are only 222ml. Has a bit of a sun bitten smell to it however ever it tasted fresh and crisp. This would be a mighty fine beer on patio on a hot summer day. Not very complex taste but it has its own character so ill give it that. I must say it is a tad like having sex in a canoe and I think you know what im getting at. JohnBarleycorn (390), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jan 18, 2008 With 2/3-sized bottles and lower alcohol content, this beer is obviously designed to be a quick refresher. Clear glass bottle and lifeless pale-yellow body hint this could be a Mexican-inspired brew, but the pleasant skunk and high-hop nose shows more pizzazz than its southern bottom-fermented counterpart. Thirst-quenching and palate-cleansing, this lager is a quickie in more ways than one: not only is it gone in a couple gulps, but the slightly sweet/slightly bitter flavour doesn’t hang around long either.
