I guess the highlight is that it’s organic so only the lack of taste is really going to hurt the environment. It’s got a weird sharp bite, but other than that it’s just smooth bland fizz with very little color. If this was really cold on a hot day, I may find some enjoyment. linc33 (177), Albany, New York, USA

Very pallid yellow with moderate carbonation under a flimsy white head that left a watery sheet of lace. Aroma finds a light hint of grasses over a DME dry pale malt. Flavor finds a bitter German kick over a pale malt base. Not-quite-thin with a spritzy/dry finish. A high-class lager.

| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jul 3, 2007 Light malt and grassy aroma. Flavour is along similar lines. Light bodied, inoffensive lager, but not setting the world on fire. I gotta ask - what’s the point of the useless 222 mL bottles? Two of them don’t even fill up a pint glass. Weak. | 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jun 28, 2007 222 ml clear bottle. Pale yellow colour with a quickly diminishing fizzy white head. Grainy, lightly acidic, and lightly floral aroma. Lightly grainy and toasty flavour with a sweetish and grainy finish. Light bodied, refreshing. Simple and unexciting. | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 17, 2007 On tap at Freshwood Grill - came a very pale gold with a small fizzy white head. Clean aroma of sweet malt and hay, with some very light hops and a bready quality. Taste much the same - clean, simple, refreshing, no more, no less. Props to the organic thing. The least interesting of Mill Street’s brews, but definitely quaffable.
