Like Creemore, I never used to like this beer at all. It’s no Creemore, but I decided to give this beer a chance out of a tall can today just to mix it up. Normally I have to choke it down while enjoying the rest of the Mill St. Seasonal six packs. Why?! Do they always need the main 3 mixed in with the cool ones! Anywayz this is a lager and not a real standout out by any means, but still very well balanced compared to it’s typical by the double dozen counterparts. A creamy taste, with a smoothly crisp feel; aromas of hay and grass. All simple. Carbonation very present, but still mild. Dissipates fast in mouth. Finish long but minimal. Overall just an exercise in lagery smoothness, just as their Cobblestone Stout claims to be. Only happens to be in a considerably lacking style.

Easy drinking, but very middle of the road. I’d have it again but there is nothing special here.

Yellow, clear, not too carbonated. Light, mild, an easy drink. Not much head, not heavy on flavour .

341ml bottle from The Only Cafe. Pours a transparent straw gold with a minimal, quickly disapating frothy head. Aromas of malty sweetness and some green apple, wet cardboard. Taste is very empty with the same characteristics of the nose: green apple, wet cardboard. Unpleasent on the finish as the malty sweetness diminishes quickly and left with predominantly wet cardboard. Nice level of carbonation for the style. Excessively clean and bland.

Yuck. Looks like pee. Doesn’t smell or taste much better. I would purchase any other lager over this.

UPDATED: NOV 1, 2014 Light straw colour. Minimal carbonation. Aromas are of bready yeast, a hint of lime and some unfortunate wet cardboard. Tastes are of green apple, and a fair amount more of wet cardboard. Overall, this came part and parcel with a mix pack that contained some other beers of theirs that I wanted to try. Would never buy this separately.

Yellow colour, clear with a light white head. Smells of yeast, similar to fresh bread. Taste is smooth, not bitter or sweet, hints of fruit and banana. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from sampler poured into shaker. Pours pale gold, minimal head. The head that IS present laces decently. Smells of grains, faint malt, must. No discernible hops. Tastes like a lager. Slightly sweet grain, bread. Inoffensive and remarkably delicate in the mouth. Refreshing. A well-done lighter lager.

Big can from the liquor store in Charlottetown Pours a fairly clear straw color with a huge frothy bubbly white head that persists. Bready earthy light fruity aroma with a hint of floral hop. Bready sweet maltiness with a hint of fruit and spice. Medium to light body with a moderate level of carbonation. Decent lager with a nice breadiness.

Pours a bright clear straw yellow with a half finger white head, decent retention, and no lacing. Nose is biscuity malt and very faint grassy hops. Taste is sweet biscuity malt and no hop presence to speak of. Light body and sustained carbonation. Inoffensive, fizzy and yellow. At least there are no adjunct flavours. (And thankfully, that’s it for my Mill Street sampler pack. Won’t be doing that again!)

Malty scent with notes of hops. Clear straw colour. Crisp mouth-feel with flavour of fresh bread. Light body with lively carbonation. Pleasant to drink on a hot day.
