Bottle, from the 10th anniversary ampler pack: pours lightly hazed orangey-amber ale in the glass with a rich creamy 2 finger cap. Moderatey carbonated. Aroma is very interesting with the typical PacNW Cascade grapefruit rush but a demure sweetness and some exotic floral-fruit tones. Medium bodied hoppy character, Flavour has a big malt presence in the start but is quickly balanced with PacNW hopping, mid palate there is a bit of complexity then a long bittering citrus finish. I had previously tasted this on cask but this bottled version is quite rounded and tamed. A nice drinkable Pacific NW styled IPA and a great addition to Mill Street’s line up.

The beer pours a dark golden-rted colour with a rocky whitish-tan head. The aropma was citrus, pine, and some grainy malt. Mouthfeel is medium-full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavour is citrusy hops, dish soap, and some caramelm sweetness.

Dark yellow, foamy white head. Nice aroma of some earthy and floral hops. Taste - pretty nice! Not Tankhouse-esque like the brewpub IPA - this one is less malty (but still on the malty side for IPA’s - nice full foamy body), with much more floral hops. Extremely drinkable! Some lingering hops in finish

bottle. Poured clear dark copper with a initially large rocky off-white head. Sweet citrusy hop aroma. Heavy palate, almost oily texture, finish is tart and astringent. Oaky caramel flavour, piney hops throughout.

Bottle. Orange pour, quick tan head. Aroma is caramel malt and citrus hop. Medium oily mouthfeel. Finish is bitter and harshly boozy. Yikes. I appreciate the effort but this is rough.

Actually a nice little hopped up IPA with a heavy fruity and floral emphasis. Beauty warmth and a bit of sweetness together with resinous and pineapple hops, mild bitterness on the finish. Hardly notice the boozy finish. Overall,a nice well balanced brew.

Pours a clear amber with big initial soapy off white head that leaves minimal lace. Aroma is toast, mild pine, floral, mildly spicy, and a nice malty sweet backbone. Flavour consists of grapefruit, pine, spicy medium bitterness, resinous, bitter grass and some caramel.

Aroma notably creamy front with citrus notes. Easy going but too thick for good IPA.6+
Appearance poured with amber hue. Creamy large top with some lace.3+
Flavor and Palate : Medium full bodied. Creamy with slight diacetyl notes. Mid sweeten by crystal malt like base. Hops on top end but without edge.

on tap at mill st. brewpub, ottawa. unclear golden-orange with a nice light beige-orange head, some retention and lacing. toasted and caramel malts - some sweetness. oranges, marmelade, lots of fruity esters. average to soft carbonation. leafy grassiness, herbal, piney hops - light to medium hopping for a somewhat balanced finish. not my ipa type - decently done.

Not bad... nice spices that remain on tongue. This stuff seems to be hoppy enough... much more interesting than some of the other Mill St. brews.
