2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Une visite au brewpub d’Ottawa. Un liquide jaune dorée avec un nez de grain légèrement fumé. Une bouche qui fait défaut malheureusement trop marquée par le grain. Le houblon est bien dissimulé.

Clear golden pour with a thin lace. Citrus bitter malt aroma. Honey texture. A little too sweet overall.

2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Always love me some Mill St. This one pours a basic urine yellow (come on guys, you are better than this...) with no head. Aroma is sweet, a bit of vanilla biscuit, not much hops. Flavour is much better, though- fairly balanced maltiness. Not really much else I can say about it, though. I prefer more hops at this time of the year, but I’d file this readily under something I’d drink on a hot day while mowing the lawn.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Appearance is a pretty dead dark yellow. Aroma and taste has me thinking Labatt 50. Feel is kind of creamy actually. Not a winner.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Mill Street Spring Sampler pack. Clear bright golden-yellow with a snow white head. Clean aroma of grain, dried hay, bit of lemongrass. Crisp, clean body with nice creaminess on the palate. Mellow flavour - cereal malt, bit of honey, quick grassy hops in finish. Simple but good.

2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clear blonde with one finger of white head. Smells of all malts up front with hay and grain, with a little stinky mash in the mix. Taste of soft malts with hay, a little sweetness but pretty basic. A little bitterness to the aftertaste. An OK beer.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
355ml bottle. Pours a pale gold with a thin white head. On the nose it comes across as a mass produced domestic ale. Sweet malt, sugar, light caramel, light resinous hops. As for taste, it’s a little too sweet, with light fruity notes, very light resinous notes, that leads into some light metallic hops, light green vegetable, faint white bread, and a mineral graphite like taste in the finish. Makes me think of a too sweet version of Labatt 50.
