3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours light golden with slight fuzzy head, that leaves a bit of weird residue. The tea aroma is pretty strong up front. I tasted this blind and thought I’d identified it as licorice. Taste is sweet.

[2797-20100305] Cask. Orange yeasty aroma has some chamomile fruity hints. Hazy, light orange yellow body with a long-lasting creamy white head. Orange yeasty chamomile flavour has lemon sugar drops, everything is odd as a beer. Medium body. Really odd and very strong chamomile notes; it works together but isn’t my typical cuppa tea.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
2010-03-11. Hazy amber body with a nice frothy head. 3+ Flavour is odd, fruity, lemon iced tea. Floral character that I assume to be the chamomile. 5+ Interesting aroma, floral notes of apple cinnamon Neo Citran up front disappear with a swirl of the glass, replaced with the same floral chamomile profile as in the flavour. Smooth average plus bodied palate is very lightly carbonated. Alcohol is nearly invisible which is impressive. It is starting to show signs of being past its prime, which is not surprising considering it was tapped a week ago... Still, my primary complaint is that I do not care for the chamomile, so I would say it has held up relatively well. Cask at the Brewpub, Toronto

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
The third weekly cask special. Served on the warm side properly. A blend of their Belgium Betel, their wit, and chamomile tea. You must at least tolerate such tea to enjoy this. Aroma of apples, herbs, and yeast. The look of light cloudy yellow with Caesar head and many lace dots. Soft mouthfeel, alcohol warming after, soothing before. The finish is a touch of lemon. This lemony taste builds up to a cresendo, such that you are tasting much lemon as the glass is drained.

Sleepwalker On cask at the brewpub. Appearance: beautiful golden yellow, hazy with a tiny white head. Aroma: wow, camomile, lavender, very floral with lemon and yeast. Very interesting. Flavour: again hugely camomile. Incredible. Lemon bite with gin and quinine. Big alcohol notes too. Super complex. Very interesting.
