3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a light copper colour, with a very small head. Smells almost cheesy. Taste is very refreshing and sweet. For the amount of alcohol, you cant really taste it much at all, although it does have a little burn. Great beer, but the meaty flavour almost puts me off. I would recommend to try.

Smells of Apple cider, caramel with a bit to cinnamon. Tastes of dark roasted caramel with a bitter applie finish. A bit of hay. Lots of malts.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
[5763-20130904] Bottle. Mild yeasty flowers aroma. Clear, bright orange body with a medium-lasting creamy off-white head. Toasted yeast flowers in the flavour has a bit if a metallic aftertaste. Medium body. Interesting enough but this was never a favourite style with me. (7/3/6-/3-/12) 3.1

A dark golden amber bock with a thin off white head. In aroma, loads of caramel malt with light maple and solvent notes, alcohol, mashed bananas, OK. In mouth, a lighter than expected sweet caramel malt with fruity esters, burned caramel, faint German hops, maple, watery bodied, scotch finale. Bottle from LCBO, prob 9 months old.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
2013-09-04. Crisp golden amber body with a large foamy off-white head that fades. 3+ Sweetish pale malt is biscuity and doughy with alcoholic undercurrent. Flavour is similar, warming alcohol coats the throat, pleasant sweet bready malt in the middle, finishes dry and relatively alcoholic. Smooth average plus palate is moderately carbonated. Okay, it is a simple but decent take on a style that I am not overly fond of. Bottle from GregClow I think.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a clear copper with a thin white head that seems to last a while and average sticky lace. Aroma is caramel, melanoidins, plums and grapes. Taste is toast, melanoidins, smooth alcohol warming, and caramel. Fits the style.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle (355 ml). From czar, thanks(?). Clear amber with a small white head and some lacing. Aroma is of bread, caramel, malt and light fruity notes. Taste is moderately sweet with bready notes, caramel, light fruits and spices. Weird texture, unpleasant sticky sweetness. Medium body. Overall, this is pretty bad. Too sugary and undrinkable.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Not bad but not good either golden colour. Nose is malty, maple and slightly muted. Mouthfeel is thin, flavour reaches for the style but comes up short

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Nice hoppy apple like flavour. Nice Carmel coloured, little head when poured. Not a bad beer, a good lead into more hoppier beers.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Medium brassy gold with a dense white head that recedes to a thin film. Aroma is sweet, with notes of fruits in syrup. Sweet pale malts, slightly bread and earthy, with sweet fruity undertones and a lightly bitter finish. This is a well-made beer to be certain, but it isn’t what I wanted. I like my doppelbocks darker, more toasty.
