On tap at Hop & Vine tap house in north Burnaby. Moderate carbonation. The color is a very encouraging dark amber. The payoff is in the flavor. A big load of both malts and hops in this one. Enough to make you smile!

Not sure why I waited so long to pick this up. Quality ale. Smells of sweet christmas oranges. Flavour is pleasant citrus and caramel with nice bitter finish. Quite delicious.

My stand-by session beer. This is a great tasting pale ale. Fairly hoppy for a main-stream beer, with a good level of malty goodness to balance it out. For a widely available, commercially friendly, mainstream beer... you can’t expect much more. About as flavourful as a light beer can be. Solid.

Guess I’ve never rated this. Copper with next to no head. Smells malty, earthy, light grapefruit. Tastes like bread and citrus. Pretty inoffensive

On tap at Against the Grain. It’s been awhile since I’ve had this beer, but I do remember it being my favourite Mill Street. Great sessionable brew, malty, hoppy and quite balanced at that.

Bottle. Deep copper colour topped with thin white head. Caramel, roasted malt, maple aroma. Heavy, rich malt flavour balanced with a slight touch of toffee sweetness. Finishes slightly bitter with a hint of green hops. Medium-bodied with average carbonation. A nice twist on a familiar style.

I wish I knew how to articulate my adoration for this beer in a more technical manner; alas, I cannot. So I will keep it simple.
This is the best $#%*@$## I have ever had! The flavor is very complex and bold yet smooth. This beer never taste bad or becomes bitter in any way to me.
Out of all the different beer I have tried in my lifetime, this beer is far ahead of anything else I have tried.
Thank you Mill Street Brewery for such a fantastic product from one of your biggest fans!

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A coppery colored beer with a light white head. The aroma of malts Hits the nose and then also on the back side of the taste. In the middle are notes of Carmel with a crisp cleanness.
