Like traditional pale ales, Tankhouse Ale has a deep copper-red colour. We use five different malts to produce a complex malty texture. The most dominant character of our Pale Ale is the hop. The spicy Cascades is used to give an assertive hop flavour, aroma and bitterness to our ale. The result is a satisfying and complex-tasting beer. Our brewmaster developed this recipe 20 years ago and it has remained his favorite drink of choice

Crimson/copper pour, aggressive carbonation lead to a consistent thin head. Not much on the nose. Detect hints of caramel and slight hops. I like the balance and the touch of bitter hops on the palate but I’m not a fan of the thick, carbonated mouthfeel. Finishes nicely.

A tasty and complex IPA packing a significant taste profile at a relatively low ABV level. A dark caramel-coloured body delivers a roasted malt and earthy hop beer that is both refreshing and challenging. Hops range from earthy to citrus. The malt is bready with toffee and a touch of spice. Well crafted

En fût au Brouepub d’Ottawa en sptembre 2014. Assez léger. Aucune odeur, les houblons sortent à peine. Bonne bière de soif par exemple. Se rapproche beaucoup de ce les brasseurs industrielles peuvent nous offrir.

Fat @ Brewpub, Toronto. Dofter av malt, citrus och karamell. Smakinslag av malt, karamell, citrus och gräs. Avslutas fruktigt, medelbeska. En bra APA.

Draft. Slightly hazy, big off white head. The aroma is malty, with some sweetness, maybe toffee. The taste is nice, balanced and wig nice hops. The finish has a pleasant dirty touch to it.

Tap at the Brewpub. Near clear dark amber with a fluffy creamy head. Great lace. Fruity, malty nose. Flavour’s quite intense compared with the rather subtle aroma. Fruity, slightly jammy, quite nice but weak. Grapefruity bitterness. Floral notes. Crisp in the mouth, body firm.

Can pours a clear Amber with a large khaki head. Caramel malt aroma with some dry earthy hops. Taste of caramel malt and tootsie rolls with an aggressive earthy hop bitterness on the finish. Not bad, especially if you like malt forward beers with a hop bite.

Tank House is one of those ales that despite tasting ok, I find it to be very similar to beers like Big Rock Traditional. It is a good beer, but I wouldn't add it to my top 20 beers. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft in Toronto. Lighter, decent malty ale. Clean, simple, tasty sipper. Medium hop, more malty body.

Clear caramel brown in appearance with almost no head. A hint of sweetness but ultimately a little boring.
