speedywinger (21), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Jul 11, 2008 Off white head on orange tinted amber body. Aroma is malts, caramel, grains and some fruity hops. Flavor is sweet caramel malts with a hoppy, dry, slightly soapy finish. Nice beer...one of the best at The Beer Store in Ontario.
Rcr84 (33), Canada Oct 10, 2008 On tap - Nice amber color. Aroma is full of bready malt and earthy hops. Flavor is full of hops, surprised me at first but they are well balanced. Has to be at least 40 IBU’s. Overall a solid ale, my stomach will be seeing this one again. KyotoLefty (202), Kyoto, Japan Sep 20, 2008 On tap at the Brewpub.
Good amber color with lacing. Fruity, hoppy aroma, seems like cascade taking the lead. Flavor of darkish malts, caramel. Big and well-balanced with a bitter hoppy finish. Hop-driven and well-done. 09maso3 (6), vancouver, British Columbia, Canada does not count Aug 28, 2008 copper colour with a decent head. malty nutty flavour. very hoppy. not a bad ale a little too hoppy for my taste though Geth_in_beer (677), Nova Scotia, Canada Aug 17, 2008 Sampler.
