3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Savvy1982 (1705) - Lethbridge, Alberta, - SEP 13, 2009UPDATED: JUN 25, 2010 Bottle, thanks to Macadem for sharing. Pours a medium reddish-amber, good head, decent lacing. Nose is bright and hoppy, plenty of citrus and leaf, as well as caramel. Palate is fresh and nippy; balanced complex and infinitely sessionable. Becoming one of my go-to beers.
2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 jjarovi (48) - markham, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 11, 2013
Not sure why this beer gets so much praise, it’s got a decent bitter kick but the body lacks depth and the aroma is minimal. Has a slight harshness to the end that is not pleasing. More hype than beer, unfortunately - it’s not bad, just not great.

UPDATED: APR 27, 2013 Surprisinly complex for only 5.2 ABV. Spicy notes at the front, with lots of citrus notes on the back. Lack of biterness is surprising. Quite sweet malt at the front as well.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 JamesChamp (108) - Oakville, Ontario, CANADA - APR 15, 2013
UPDATED: MAY 5, 2013 Really enjoyable beer. It is a good balance, beer with good taste but nothing crazy or over powering. Even someone who might drink lagers and such might be able to drink this beer but also a craft beer fan can enjoy as well.
4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20 shorlin (431) - St. John’s, Newfoundland, CANADA - MAR 11, 2013
Very nice deep red, moderate lasting head. As always, a wonderful aroma of Cascade hop. Perfect amount of citrus and floral smell. Taste is just the right combination of bitter, but not stupidly so, and good malty sweetness. Palate is a nice dryish bitter, but perhaps could be a bit more solid overall. Still, as I tell everyone who asks me, this is the beer that everyone should be drinking, all the time, everywhere.

Aroma is one of beer’s most complex features. Aroma is propelled by lively CO2 and dampened by pillowy heads - especially nitrogen foam. Click on a term below to add it to your tasting notes.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 zimbo (330) - SCOTLAND - DEC 2, 2012
A promising start on the aroma front this beer sadly falls away when your lips and nose are struck by the carbonation which is way to intense and strikes me as a mask for the beer’s shortcomings. A shame as its other elements are very encouraging indeed.
