Millennium Starkol 5.3 without the watering down. Not everything’s cranked up to 11 in this one. The pleasant components haven’t increased at all, only the nasty metallic ones have. Tickling the borders of horror...

Can, 7.3%. Clear golden colour. Very small white head. The flavour is OK sweet and malty. Quite clean flavour. Rough bitterness, but nice enough.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a diminished white head. Smooth caramel malty aroma with a mild alcohol presence. Solid caramel malty flavoured with a distinct alcohol presence. Light acidic and cornish into the finish.

Biggish white head does not last. Coppery body. Fruity alcohol aroma with apple notes. Not entirely unlike watered-down calvados. Dry-sweet fruity malty alcoholic taste with toffee and apple notes. Full, syrupy mouthfeel. Palate tends toward the cloying. It kind of works for me, though. Dry-sweet grassy malty oily aftertaste with caramel notes. Could be a lot worse. (0.5l can, Systembolaget, Charlottenberg.)

Can. Plain golden colored, thin white head. Sweet malt aroma with a strong alcohol scent. Sickly sweet malt flavor, lots of alcohol. A hint of lemon and mild bittering hops. Chewy mouthfeel. Boozy finish.
