The appearance and smell was that of generally most American macro lagers--pale yellow and sour smelling. There was supposed to be a hint of lime but I couldn’t tell in the smell.
The taste was more of the same: sour sour sour. I could hard swallow it.
It was sour and bitter and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. If you want a Mexican-style beer, get a Mexican beer! Gypsy19 (618), California, USA

And I’m no primadonna when it comes to sampling disgusting fuckin’ brews. So I was pleasantly surprised to find that this is a harmless combination of cheap American Lager with hints of salt and lime; Also known as Tequiza circa 1998. In other words it’s exactly what it claims to be. Not that that makes it great necessarily, just marginally better than anticipated since I was fearing the worst after discovering that word Chelada after getting home and there being no turning back... vikingguy (144), Chaska, Minnesota, USA

I think Miller did this pretty well...the salt and the lime are a good flavor with the beer. Unfortunately, if it’s beer you’re looking for, this won’t suffice. It is what it is. skaz05 (17), USA

I must have gotten a hold of an expired batch or soemthing, because this stuff tasted really skunky-funky. I just wanted this beer to be over, I didn’t enjoy it at all. Smells kinda like vomit. As it warms it smells like someone squeezed a lime wedge over the vomit.
Tingly carbonation and light-medium mouthfeel offers up that sparkling grape juice quality.
Sweet light malt almost completely covered by the lime flavor and some grapiness. Weird watery Zima-like taste on the finish. Tastes like a really light beer with some lime juice and sweetener added. mhelgason (495), Charlotte, North Carolina, USA

Like a miller lite with some fake candy lime flavors. I hate to say it though it was pretty easy to drink the stuff. darylteach (3), Dover, New Hampshire, USA does not count | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Mar 31, 2008 An acquaintance recommended I try this beer when she saw I was drinking Corona Extra with a lime. I was skeptical, and after the first few sips, it was palatable. Better than I expected, but I didn’t expect much. ilovedarkbeer (1333), Dallas, Texas, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Mar 30, 2008 This is nothing like a chelada. Think pelligrino, plus lime, plus some sort of artificial fruit, plus a load of fizz. Yellow body white head. Maybe some grapes in the taste. Semi-Refreshing due to the watery nature but definitly not a tasty one.
