Being that I was never planning on buying this beer, I was pleased to be able to try it under the circumstances. Pour is straight pale lager, with perhaps less head. Aroma typical macro grain, really not much of the extras (lime and salt). Taste was actually much smoother than Miller Lite. I thought the lime and salt were very muted, and actually quite nicely blended. Not a bad drink by any means, and perhaps something I would prefer over normal Miller line up. Did I have a second? Nope, they had Sierra Nevada too. jimhilt (1696), Bow, New Hampshire, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jul 13, 2007 Straight up pour gives a five finger white head that fades quickly to a thin layer leaving some lace. Crystal clear pale amber color. Light-medium carbonation and light bodied. Lime nose. Flavor is a slightly tart lime drink, the lime hides any malt or hops, clean finish. Good lawnmower beer but don’t drink this expecting anything like a beer. $1.50 for a 12oz bottle from Capital Convenience Concord, NH. hayduke (1693), Eureka, California, USA

| 0.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/20 | Jul 13, 2007 This is some seriously vile shit. I’m talking, when you look up in the dictionary of "drainpour" they have a picture of this crap. Good God this was bad. I guess I’ve been surrounding myself with some decent beer lately because when you get dogshit like this, it’s definitely a wake-up call. An aroma of salt, metal and some kind of limey soap. I almost wanted to turn around and dump the rest of this garbage out, but I soldiered on. Appearance was a pissy yellow, clear, small bubbles with a foamy white head. Mouthfeel was minerally and watery. Flavor was...bad. And not a good bad. But bad bad. How anyone can choke this crap down bottle after bottle gets the Iron Gut of the Year award from me. A flavor of phoney lime juice, and lots and lots of soap. Imagine sprtizing some lime juice on a bar or Irish Spring, stick it in your mouth and suck on it for awhile and you get the idea of this. I’ve had a true michelada style drink at many authentic Mexican and Puerto Rican restaurants and while it’s not a drink I’ll have often, this does not do it justice. If you see this, stay far far away. Drink Bud. Drink Cave Creek Chili Beer. Just don’t drink this unless you like the taste of soap and lime together. Think I’ll go throw the rest of these bottles away. Butters (1689), Virginia, USA

Smells like corn, but didn’t pick up any lime characteristics in the nose. Lime somewhat comes through in the flavor but on the whole, this is pretty nasty. Thin mouthfeel but prickly carbonation. Wouldn’t drink again unless I had to. douglas88 (1686), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/20 | Jul 21, 2008 This was the only beer at the hotel bar that I haven’t rated, so I had no choice. I took one for the team. Pours a clear golden with a medium white head. The aroma is mostly lime and a sweet malt. The taste is basically a ton of artificial lime with the basic sweet skunky malt. This was like that but worse - gross smelling, bad tasting with a hint of lime. The people who enjoy this occupy a different world than mine.
