2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Strangebrewer (632) - Chatham, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 13, 2011
bottle. Poured very pale clear yellow with thin white head. Candied lemon aroma. Big carbonation, crisp mouthfeel. A grainy flavour with just a hint of citrus. A very light beer meant for downing to beat the summer heat. Drink it straight from the bottle, don’t bother dirtying a glass.
1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20 Lagerboy (667) - British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 8, 2011
Single bottle purchased from the Heffley Creek Store, glad I was able to buy only one. Extremely thin American industrial swill flavored water with a hint of lemon. Not much there.
1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 HeistAlmighty (818) - Saint John, New Brunswick, CANADA - JUN 6, 2011
355ml bottle. I didn’t find this to have much lemon flavour, or much beer flavour either. It wasn’t offensive, it was just uninteresting. It would be ok on a hot day, but a lemon-aid could do whatever this does better.
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 JRHBrew (311) - Fredericton, New Brunswick, CANADA - JUN 2, 2011
Crisp and refreshing. Nice lemon zing in the finish. The beer does its job as good drink after mowing the lawn
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 MrManning (1982) - Hamilton, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 27, 2011
Very pale sparkling gold, with a loud and active fizz. No lace or head retention. Vegetal nose is predominant, some citrus is here, with cardboard. Grassy like sweetness with only the tiniest citric bite. Fizzy, rough carbonation. Pass.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 yarry (497) - Waterdown, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 27, 2011
355ml bottle, 4% a/v. Pours very light and generic gold colour with a decent white head. Aroma is indeed lemony with a bit of sweetness and malt in the back. The taste is also lemony, but the light beer that backs it is actually not bad. The aftertaste and mouthfeel are essentially non-existant. This would actually be a great beer to have on a hot day.
